The High School League Holiday Cup is back for 2019!

LPL is proud to once again bring you the HSL Holiday Cup, powered by Vodafone NZ! This free-to-enter event is held very shortly after secondary school exams in both Australia and New Zealand. Following the first successful season of Clash Royale this year HSL hopes to see even more students across Australia and New Zealand participating in this competitive esports Holiday Cup.
Registrations for this Cup are now open for high school students across ANZ, with the opportunity for more than one team per school to compete in Clash Royale. Entry is free.

About Clash Royale
This tournament is not run, supported or endorsed by Supercell. Clash Royale is a mobile app video game developed and published by Supercell. The game combines elements from collectible card games, tower defence, and a multiplayer online battle arena. It combines skills such as strategic planning, improvisation, reactive decision-making and planning ahead to execute strategies. Competitors can work together to defeat enemy teams or play on their own against other single players.
Key Dates
Registrations Open: Wednesday 20th November 2019
Registrations Close: Friday 29th November 2019 11:59PM NZDT
Open ANZ Qualifiers: Saturday 30 Nov from 12pm NZDT
Top 4 Finals: Saturday 7 Dec from 12pm NZDT
Format
Matches will be played in teams of 3, in a ‘series’ format (2v2, 1v1 and king of the hill).
Open Qualifiers will be best of 1 series via a single-elimination bracket.
Finals will feature the top 4 teams in best of 3 series' via single-elimination bracket.
The Holiday Cup finals will be broadcast live on twitch.tv/highschoolleague
Eligibility
The HSL Holiday Cup is open to residents of Australia and NZ who are still attending High School (year 9 and above) as of 7th December 2019.
Prizing
$450 worth of prizes powered by Vodafone NZ
First Place: $300 worth of Steam, PlayStation or App store credit ($100 each, player's choice)
Runner-Up: $150 worth of Steam, PlayStation or App store credit ($50 each, player's choice)
