Welcome to the NZESF HSL Rocket League National Championship!

Tournament Information:
The New Zealand Esports Federation (NZESF) and LetsPlayLive (LPL) are proud to announce the first NZESF High School League Rocket League National Championship! Starting this year, the NZESF will hold an annual National Championship esports event to crown New Zealand's national high school esports champs for Rocket League.

The NZESF have partnered with LetsPlay.Live who will facilitate the tournament and broadcast the Playoff matches live from the LPL Studios in Auckland, New Zealand. Teachers, students and parents can tune in to watch their school team and support players in real time (dates listed on the right).

High school students will have from today until Friday 6 November 12:00pm to register their schools teams. Schools can have multiple teams for each game, but individual students must play on one team per title. Each team must have a member of faculty registered and confirmed as the team supervisor.

Playoffs will will be broadcast on NZESF HSL Twitch channel Friday 11 December 5PM NZT.

Tournament Format:
Open Qualifiers - Best of 3, Double Elimination. Bracket to be completed for seeding purposes.
Playoffs - Top 4 teams from Open Qualifiers. Semi Finals 1 - Seed #1 vs Seed #4. Semi Finals #2 - Seed #2 vs Seed 3. Semi Finals will be a Best of 5. Grand Finals will be a Best of 7.

Eligibility:
Any player that is a registered student in a High School based in New Zealand is eligible to enter the NZESF HSL Rocket League.

LPL officials reserve the right to make final and binding decisions regarding player eligibility and entry to the NZESF HSL. Players that are ineligible will be removed from the NZESF HSL effective immediately. LPL officials reserve the right to ask players proof of their eligibility at any point of the NZESF HSL, failure and/or refusal to provide proof of eligibility when asked will result in the immediate removal of the player.

The team captain and/or the team supervisor must create a team through the sign up page. Teams must be created as “[School Name] - [Team Name]”. Once the team has been created, players can then be invited to the team. All players must have valid LPL accounts.

Key Dates:
Sign Ups Open - Tuesday 27 October

Open Qualifiers:
Open Qualifiers will be played over two days: Saturday 7 November 1PM NZT - 7PM NZT - Sunday 8 November 1PM NZT - 7PM NZT.

Playoffs:
Semi Finals #1, Semi Finals #2 and Grand Finals will be played on Friday 11 December 5PM NZT.
